The Board is the body that is charged with the governance of the school:
defining its mission, determining its strategic direction, securing and
protecting its financial resources, and overseeing the President who
manages the administration and operations of the institution. Together
the Board and the President plan strategically for the long range
advancement and benefit of the school and its students. The Board does
not involve itself in the day-to-day operations of the school, leaving
those matters to the President and his staff.
Currently the
Board has thirty members. Twenty of the current Trustees are
Westminster alumni. Thirteen are current parents, and fourteen are past
parents.
