There are countless ways to volunteer at Westminster. From serving on a committee or council to mentoring current students or volunteering at Reunion events, Wildcats from every decade give their time and talents in a variety of ways.

Volunteer Opportunities

Westminster Fund Class Agent

The Westminster Fund is Westminster’s top giving priority, and Alumni Class Agents are essential to the success of each year's fundraising campaign. Through peer-to-peer outreach, Class Agents reinforce the efforts of the Advancement Office to communicate the value of investing in the School, educate alumni about the importance in participating in the Annual Fund, and securing crucial financial support to continue to enhance the Westminster experience.

Reunion Volunteers

Reunions are an important time for alumni to come together and celebrate their Westminster experiences. Each alumni class celebrates Reunions every five years during Alumni Reunion Weekend held in the spring. With guidance from the Alumni Office, alumni event and fundraising volunteers help invite friends to the reunion, assist in the planning of the reunion party, or ask classmates to make a gift to the School in honor of your reunion.

Regional Chapter Councils

Volunteer-driven and alumni-oriented, Wildcat Chapters provide our alumni the opportunity to connect to both one another and to Westminster. Our NYC and DC Chapters Councils both plan a variety of programs throughout the year including social, athletic, networking, and service opportunities. To learn more about our Alumni Chapter Councils, please email alumni@westminster.net.

Alumni Committees

Our Alumni Board Committees seek input and involvement from volunteer leaders in the areas of Homecoming, Reunions, Beyond the Gates, National Presence, Alumni Awards, and more! From event planning to strategic direction, alumni committees offer a variety of opportunities to get involved. To learn more, please email alumni@westminster.net.

Mentors for Current Students

Alumni provide meaningful connections and perspectives for the next generation of Wildcat alumni! Whether volunteering in the classroom, hosting student classes off-campus, or sharing your expertise with a class during JanTerm, alumni help create unique opportunities in and beyond the classroom.

Alumni Board

For alumni who are passionate about Westminster and desire to more deeply invest in shaping, building, and promoting our Alumni programs, the Alumni Board is an ideal leadership role. While serving on the Alumni Board requires a regular commitment of time, it provides a great opportunity to gain a big picture understanding of our School's mission and core institutional priorities, be among the first to know about strategic decisions made by the Board of Trustees, and directly influence and positively impact our alumni programming.

Young Alumni Council

Westminster’s Young Alumni Council is a leadership role for our most recent alums. Council members provide strategic guidance and support for young alumni events and initiatives. This group focuses on engaging alumni who live in Atlanta and graduated from Westminster between 5 and 15 years ago.
