Seminars

The Center will sponsor ongoing seminars on a variety of topics of interest to educators. Seminars will be run by educators in the Greater Atlanta area and in some cases from outside the area. The Center will attempt to partner with local colleges and universities to offer seminars that expose faculty to what is happening in the Atlanta higher education community. In addition, the Center will attempt to bring faculty together to share with and learn from each other. Creating an engaging and collaborative environment for learning about the teaching profession is the primary goal for the seminars. Seminars will, in many cases, offer Professional Learning Units.

Some seminars may be organized specifically for The Westminster Schools and Drew Charter School faculties, while other seminars will be open to other public, independent, parochial, and charter schools as announced.
