COVID-19

Since the final weeks of the school year, we have been planning our return to full days on campus each day of the week. We are in agreement with our parents—maintaining academic progress is a key priority as is celebrating the reunion of our campus community. Our strategy accounts for the fact that we are at our best together in a face-to-face setting.

Health and safety are our primary concern, and this is our focus in providing a sustained on-campus learning environment. What follows is the framework of our plan to open school on campus for the 2020-21 school year. We are taking extensive measures to prevent the transmission of COVID-19. These measures include everything from our safety protocols to the design of the daily class schedule to how we will respond if we do have a case in our community. In the end, we want a healthy campus, a connected community, and students who are stepping forward each day as young scholars and emerging leaders.

Our plan for a safe return to campus includes six primary protocols designed to limit virus exposure. These protocols are based on scientific recommendations from local, national, and international public health experts. As conditions change and new information about the spread of COVID-19 becomes available, some of our protocols may change. Our collective commitment to the following protocols is critical to maintaining an on-campus experience. We look forward to welcoming our community back to campus very soon!
