From all corners of Atlanta, and from an almost infinite variety of backgrounds and personal histories, students come to The Westminster Schools to pursue excellence in a community where respect and compassion are core values. The evidence that they are meeting that challenge is apparent in achievements ranging from nationally competitive results across every measure of college readiness to top-ranked programs in debate, robotics, experiential education, athletics–and many others–to creative endeavors in the visual and performing arts that are second to none. Add to these accomplishments a vibrant mission of service both locally and globally, and Westminster’s impact on both mind and spirit is evident each day on our campus.

As Westminster’s fifth president, I am delighted to welcome you to our School and to our home on the web. Westminster embraces unique commitments in our mission that make this place different than any other school in Atlanta or even the United States. We are devoted to creating lifelong learners and to realizing the potential of exceptional students and faculty learning together in an academically rigorous curriculum. We are grounded in the Christian tradition and are thereby inspired to build an inclusive, caring community dedicated to timeless values and to serving others. And, finally, we look forward to the world our students will inherit and focus our efforts toward preparing them for the transformative impact of new technologies, accelerating globalization, and unimaginable scientific discovery. All of these aspects of our mission and vision form the foundation of who we are at Westminster and explain why our students love coming to school each day.

I invite you to explore our website but, even more importantly, to see our students in action on our campus. They are a remarkable group and can tell you in their own eloquent words why this school means so much to them and to generations of alumni who proudly say that it all began here.

Best wishes and I hope to see you soon.

    Sincerely,

    Keith Evans
