Wildcat Swim and Dive Team Wins Middle School Championships

    Congratulations to the Middle School swimming and diving team for winning their championship this weekend!

    The CatFish defeated 28 teams to win the Middle School Championships at Marist School on Saturday, December 10. The girls team finished with a score of 462.5, ahead of Duluth and Marist, while the boys team won with a score of 396, putting them ahead of Duluth and Woodward. With their combined score, the Wildcats won by more than 300 points.

    Event winners included:
    • The boys medley relay team of Toby Liu '22, Saavan Shah '22, Miles Clayton '22, and Mason Stephenson '22.
    • The girls medley relay team of Samantha Bertschi '21, Gigi Johnson '22, Virginia Hatcher '21, and Lara Jones '21.
    • Bertschi in the 200m and 500m freestyle.
    • Clayton in the 200m individual medley and 500m freestyle.
    • Johnson in the 200m individual medley and 100m breaststroke.
    • The girls 200m freestyle relay of Lucie Ide '21, Mary Claire Anderson '22, Amy Zhao '21, and Jones.
    • Shah in the 100m breaststroke.
    • The boys 400m freestyle relay team of Liu, Nik Vijayvergiya '22, Shah, and Clayton.
    • The girls 400m freestyle relay of Ide, Anderson, Johnson, and Bertschi.
    The team finished their season undefeated with a 6-0 record. Congrats, CatFish!
