Two Upper School students were recently featured on Atlanta INtown's ninth annual "20 Under 20" list. The paper honors local students who have volunteered and given back to their communities.
Senior Christina Dalton was selected as one of the "20 Under 20" finalists for her numerous service opportunities. She works with the National Charity League, a mother-daughter organization committed to community service and leadership. Through the NCL, she was able to combine her passion for health care and service by interning with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. In addition, she has volunteered with the Ronald McDonald House, Piedmont Hospital, and Atlanta Community Food Bank, among other organizations.
Christina was joined by Mackenzi Stewart '19, who received an honorary mention. MacKenzi mentors and teaches tennis to Lower School students and is the Community Service Intern for L.E.A.D. (Launch, Expose, Advise, Direct), her family's non-profit organization. L.E.A.D. partners with Atlanta Public Schools to empower at-risk children.
