Teaching for Tomorrow

Teaching for Tomorrow is Westminster's comprehensive and multi-year campaign to secure the funds The Westminster Schools needs to build upon the accomplishments of its first half-century. The campaign, announced in October 2006, seeks a minimum of $100 million to enable the school to recruit and retain the next generation of teachers, and to provide faculty and students with the resources to enhance learning and perform to their highest potential. The campaign is led by Scott Hawkins T, P’00, ’03, Susan Shanor P’11, ’13, and Glenn Warren T, ’77, P’07.

The title of our campaign, Teaching for Tomorrow, underscores Westminster’s educational mission -- providing our children with the understanding, knowledge, and character traits they must possess to succeed in the future -- and the school’s overarching priority over the next several years: to ensure that Westminster has the resources needed to recruit the next generation of teachers who will prepare our children for tomorrow.
