Westminster has long sought to broaden the perspective of its students by offering opportunities to travel and study abroad.  Participating students and recent graduates have cited such experiences as among their most educationally rewarding activities.  Westminster now seeks to expand such educational enrichment initiatives.

The popular School Year Abroad is a success with students and parents, and increasing numbers of students seek to participate, not only to enhance their foreign language skills but also to experience first-hand other cultures.  Our American Field Service program similarly attracts additional students each year seeking to live and study abroad.  In an effort to offer expanded international opportunities, Westminster began an exchange program with Mount Kenya Academy in Kenya, East Africa, in 2006.  To support these and other educational enrichment initiatives, Westminster seeks $1.5 million in new endowment.
