Strengthening Annual Giving

Goal: $17,800,000

Any school seeking to offer a first-class educational program must have funds that may readily be applied to academic enhancement opportunities.  At Westminster, annual fund gifts from alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends provide this essential margin of excellence.  Such support enables Westminster to offer a rich and diverse educational program, mount a consistently competitive and multifaceted athletic program, and expand its already notable commitment to the fine and performing arts, including its annual production of Handel’s “Messiah.”

Because the Annual Fund provides the school with this critically needed unrestricted and other budget-relieving support, it is included as a Teaching for Tomorrow priority with a minimum goal of $17,800,000 (a comprehensive five year total) to be raised as part of the larger campaign effort. 

Therefore, over the course of the campaign, Westminster will look to its graduates and current and past parents as well as grandparents – those who can best attest to the value of a Westminster education – to help meet these annual operating expenses and to support the new and continuing educational initiatives that are also a part of the campaign.
