In most cases, you will need to send Westminster matching gift paperwork. Please send this to the Office for Institutional Advancement and include your name and address and how you would like Westminster to credit your matching gift upon its arrival.
Gifts of Stock and Other Appreciated Securities
|A gift of appreciated securities that you have held for more than one year is frequently the most tax-wise way to give securities. If you are 70½ years old or older, you can take advantage of a simple way to benefit Westminster and receive tax benefits in return. You can give up to $100,000 from your IRA directly to a qualified charity such as ours without having to pay income taxes on the money.
