Matthew Guard '98 and the Skylark vocal ensemble, which includes George Case '01, received a 2020 Grammy Award nomination.
Matthew, Skylark's conductor and artistic director, and the group is nominated for Best Choral Performance—Classical for "Once Upon A Time," a fairytale concept concert-turned-album that interweaves composed pieces, narration, and original music.
Winners will be announced at 63rd annual Grammy Awards in January 2021.
Skylark performed "Once Upon A Time" for students and faculty in February 2020 as part of their residency with the Performing Arts Department.
