Ann Wright Guerry '22 has been nominated for the USA TODAY National High School Sports Awards. Ann Wright was selected to the 2021-22 All-USA TODAY HSSA Girls Tennis Team, sponsored by Wilson.

24 standout tennis players from across the nation will be honored as nominees for national Girls Tennis Player of the Year. The winner, along with three finalists, will be revealed July 31 during an on-demand broadcast. Tune in to see who will be named the nation’s best at 8 p.m. EDT on July 31 on the Sports Awards website.

The USA TODAY High School Sports Awards is the largest high school athletic recognition program in the country with 26 regional programs and one national awards program. Each regional program selects the best athletes in the area and names athletes of the year for each sport. Special awards are also given. Nominees are selected through statistical analysis, game coverage and coach/athletic director feedback.
