Student-Athletes Honored, Coach Amy Eubanks Inducted into Hall of Fame

The Atlanta Track Club honored Naima Turbes '19 and Will Wallace '19 at the 54th annual All-Metro Cross Country Banquet.

This season, the duo led their respective teams to the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) Class 3A state girls and boys championships in November. With her second-place finish at the state championship and her help leading the team to its fifth consecutive championship, Turbes earned All-Metro Girls First Team honors.

Wallace led the boys team to the GHSA 3A boys championship with his second-place finish and earned All-Metro Boys Third Team honors. This was the boys team’s first title since 2013 and 26th overall.

After leading the girls cross country program to a 22nd state championship under her guidance (and 30th overall), Coach Amy Eubanks was inducted into the Georgia Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Hall of Fame. She joins Westminster’s boys coach, Joe Tribble, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2013. In addition, Eubanks and Tribble earned the Atlanta Track Club's All-Metro 3A Coach of the Year honor.
