Will Benson '16 made history when he hit four home runs in a single Class-A game.
The feat happened during Thursday evening's game between the Lake County Captains and South Bend Cubs.
Will, who was drafted by the Cleveland Indians during the first round in 2016 and currently plays for the Captains, is the first Captains player to ever hit four home runs in a single game and the first minor leaguer to hit four homers in a game since 2014.
"Once I hit it, I was like, 'Wow, that's incredible,'" Will told MILB.com. "I was just thanking God all around the bases. I'm just very thankful and blessed to go out there and do that. I don't want to say it was a dream come true, but it's something that you'll never forget."
In his first full pro season last year, Will hit 22 home runs.
