The Middle School robotics team qualified for the VEX Robotics World Championship after strong performances throughout the competition season.
The tournament, which will be conducted virtually May 16-22, will place teams from around the world in timed robotics competition matches with their custom-built robots. In a typical year, the annual VEX Robotics World Championship attracts more than 30,000 attendees from all 50 states and more than 70 nations.
Zainab Barodawala '25, Hunter Boze '26, Augie Bunting '25, Ayden Damji '26, Andy Fang '26, Anderson Lee '26, Liam Loughead '25, John Overend '25, Max Rodbell '26, Celeste Roselli '27, Lucy Shi '25, and Brayden Watt '26 will all compete in the championship.
The Middle School team received its first-ever bid to the world stage last year, but the competition was canceled due to the pandemic.
