The Georgia House of Representatives honored the Upper School robotics team at the state Capitol this week.
Members of the WiredCats team briefed several state representatives on potential ways to improve STEM and robotics education throughout Georgia. Following their discussion, the House of Representatives adopted Resolution 1244, commending the team for their contributions to advancing STEM education.
The WiredCats have previously received robotics accolades for their success in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering within the community.
The House resolution also officially recognized March 9, 2020, as STEM Advocacy Day in Georgia.
