The Broadcom Foundation and Society for Science & the Public selected Tejas Kadadi '25 as a semifinalist in the 2021 Broadcom MASTERS, the nation’s premier STEM competition for middle school students.
Tejas and his project, "Using Mealworms to Biodegrade Plastic Pollutants," were chosen as one of 300 semifinalists. The semifinalists were selected from 1,841 students from across the country. Only students who are named in the top 10 percent of their qualifying science fair are eligible to enter the Broadcom MASTERS.
The Broadcom MASTERS, a program of the Society for Science, seeks to inspire young scientists, engineers, and innovators to solve the grand challenges of the 21st century.
