Three students are the recipients of National Scholastic Art & Writing awards.
Samanyu Ganesh '26 received a silver medal, and Campbelle Searcy '22 and Alex Wa '24 each received a gold medal in the national competition.
The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards are the nation’s longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens in grades 7–12. For this award year, students submitted nearly 320,000 works of art and writing in 29 categories. Approximately 90,000 works were recognized at the regional level. Of those, approximately 1,700 students received national medals.
Earlier this year, nearly a dozen Middle and Upper School students received 21 Gold Key Awards at the regional level. Those pieces were then judged nationally by a panel of creative-industry experts to receive the national medals. National medalists will be recognized during a ceremony this summer.
