Two shorts produced by Upper School students were selected to screen at two film festivals.
Form 4473 and The Red Die—two narrative short films produced by the student-run production group StudioW—were selected for the 2019 All American High School Film Festival (AAHSFF), the world's largest high school and middle school film, photography, and media arts festival.
Form 4473 was directed by Yash Kadadi '21, produced by Jonas Du '21, and photographed by Andrew Stevens '20. Actors include Max Norman '21, Matthew Propp '21, Eliza Fleming '20, and Will Batelaan '21. In addition to AAHSFF, the movie was also selected for and screened at the FILM-ED International Film Festival in Dubai in June.
The Red Die was directed by Andrew Stevens '20, produced by Jonas Du '21, and stars Kaelan Kelly '21.
The AAHSFF includes screenings of hundreds of the best high school films from around the world, networking events for young filmmakers, the Teen Indie Awards Show, film invitational competitions, and more. The festival will take place October 11-13 in New York City with films screened at AMC Empire 25 Theaters in Times Square.
