Summer Camps

As we complete moving into our beautiful new Love Hall space, Westminster will offer two special camps to our Lower School families. Camps will be held on August 14, 15, 16, and 19 at the summer day camp facilities on Nancy Creek Road. Broadway Bound
We're not just training performing artists; we're building their confidence and self-esteem. Through fun challenges and lots of encouragement, we'll teach each student how to sing louder, act bravely, and move confidently on stage. Campers will learn basic principles of being on stage and get familiar with expressive movement—all culminating with a final showcase where they perform what they have learned. With expert instruction, we provide a spotlight for every student as we build community in a creative environment where campers can make lifelong friends!

Rewind Summer 2024
Sign your child up to join us as we rewind Summer 2024 and experience the most exciting, exhilarating, blow-your-socks-off activities from our STEM Camps of yesterweeks! This experience will feature activities from our most popular camps. Students will:

• Race gyrospheres through “Camp Jurassic”!
• Observe chemical reactions from “Minions In Training”!
• Program robots and explore other inventions from "Super Hero Tech”!
• Get a sneak peek of our new Space Camp launching in 2025
• And enjoy more surprises...

Presented by STEM Velocity, this camp focuses on STEM and collaboration. STEM Velocity helps children acquire essential 21st-century skills by presenting hands-on activities utilizing quality resources. Westminster offers a traditional day camp experience with the look and feel of a rural summer camp in the heart of Buckhead! Campers are grouped by grade and experience a variety of activities tailored to their interest and ability. New, fun challenges like canoeing, swimming, fishing, archery, and more await!

Westminster's specialty camps offer creative exploration, hands-on learning, and plenty of summer fun! Campers spend their week pursuing a new passion or enjoying a current hobby in areas like filmmaking, science, chess, cooking, sewing, coding, debate, and more! Immersed in their favorite activities, campers also build friendships with other children sharing their interests.

Westminster's sports camps help young athletes entering grades 1-9 develop their athletic potential in a wide variety of sport specific camps or general full day try it out camps. Led by Westminster head coaches along with college and high school student-athletes, campers participate in team competition and informal play! A variety of sports are offered and held at Westminster's athletics facilities.

Whether your child will be new or has attended before, your camper can look forward to seeing new camps offered each summer! New camps for summer 2024 include: Middle School Chess, Two-week Enthusiast Dungeons & Dragons Camp, and Movie Making Madness.
