Thank you for your interest in Westminster. Spaces are limited, and late applicants will be considered for our wait pool.

Our key entry points—where we intentionally expand our classes—are pre-first (kindergarten), sixth, and ninth grades. While spaces in other grades are more limited, we welcome applications across all grades.

Campus visit opportunities will be available to late applicants in April and May, after we complete processing the high volume of applications submitted by the January 15 deadline. Once a late application is submitted, we will contact families regarding required student observations or interviews.

The Admissions Committee at Westminster attempts to enroll well-rounded students who are intelligent and ambitious, intellectually curious, and interested in others. They aspire to be good citizens who seek a strong academic foundation necessary for college and for a life of service and achievement.

The admissions process is designed to give the Admissions Committee the best overall picture of your child. The best thing you can do for your child is to follow the process and have all the required forms submitted in a timely manner.

No, there is no such requirement; however, you are certainly welcome to schedule a phone call or meeting if you have specific questions. We schedule parent meetings October through mid-January. We encourage interested parents to attend events that we offer throughout the admissions season. Please be sure to check Ravenna to view upcoming events.

You may request a teacher from the previous year to complete a recommendation form for your child.

January 15, 2026, is the application deadline. The application consists of the Shared Applicant Information Form, Westminster Supplement, and application fee.

The deadline for all supporting documentation is January 30, 2026. We may schedule your student’s observation/interview after this date, but that does not conflict with the materials deadline. Files that are incomplete will not be reviewed by the Admissions Committee until after April and will be considered late applications. At that point in time, upon review of a complete file, the best initial decision Westminster can offer an applicant is waitlist.

No. We are unable to accommodate new students once the school year begins. Even though there may be an instance where a current family moves away during the school year, we will not bring new students into the school until the following year.

Families considering entry for the next school year are welcome to join a guided Parent Tour during school hours. You will walk the halls, observe classes, and meet the Admissions team.
