Getting Started

Your Westminster journey begins here.

Westminster uses an online application system called Ravenna to organize all admissions applications, registration forms, and more. While the application deadline for the 2018-19 school year has passed, you can create an account within Ravenna to receive notifications about Parent Information Sessions, Tours, and Open Houses for the 2019-20 admissions season - all of which take place from October through January.

We are honored that you are considering Westminster for your child's education. Our admissions process offers ample opportunities for your family to get to know our students and teachers, and for us to get to know you and your child. In the meantime, we encourage you to explore this website to learn more about our special community. We can’t wait to meet you!

Applicant Family Checklist

Step One: Register in Ravenna

Westminster uses the Ravenna online system for all steps of the application process, from registering for admissions events to submitting applications and transcripts. Click here to create an account.

The application deadline for the 2018-19 school has passed. The application for the 2019-20 school year will be available in October.

Step Two: Sign up for an Open House, Parent Information Sessions, or Tour

Once you are registered in Ravenna, we will notify you when signups begin for one of our many admissions events. Nothing compares to an in-person visit to our campus. Please note that we are unable to host visits or tours in March and April.

Step Three: Complete the Online Application

Applications for the 2018-19 school year were available in Ravenna from October 13, 2017 through January 12, 2018. Late applications will still be accepted from out-of-town applicants provided those families are able to self-manage all application steps.

Step Four: Schedule Testing

Student testing is a part of the application process for all grade levels. Parents will schedule JATP (Lower School applicants) and SSAT (Middle and Upper School applicants) sessions directly with JATP and SSAT respectively.

The required campus evaluation visit (Lower School applicants) and interview visit (Middle and Upper School applicants) will be scheduled by the Admissions Office after the Shared Applicant Information Form and the Parent Supplement have been submitted through Ravenna.

Please understand that the volume of applications already received by the deadline requires the full attention of our team. We strongly encourage late applicants applying for non-expansion or limited expansion years (i.e., first through fifth grade and eight grade) to consider applying in the future. It is highly unlikely that we will be able to offer your child the required onsite evaluation or interview. We are also unable to host visits or tours during March and April.

Late applications will still be accepted from out-of-town applicants provided those families are able to self-manage all application steps.
