Financial Assistance

Financial assistance can bridge the gap for a family who needs assistance to cover the cost of attending Westminster. We encourage families to pursue the process rather than make assumptions about qualifying for financial assistance that might prevent your child from receiving a Westminster education.

Approximately 13% of our students in grades pre-first through twelve qualify for financial assistance.

As a member of and in accordance with the guidelines outlined by the Georgia High School Association (GHSA), Westminster does not provide merit-based scholarships to incoming students and solely offers need-based financial assistance.

As financial assistance is based on a parent's ability to pay, we ask each family to reapply for financial assistance each year. The school makes every effort to ensure the level of assistance from year-to-year does not change if the family’s financial circumstance does not significantly change.

Financial assistance information is confidential and is not shared. To ensure the best possible experience for all families, recipients also are required to keep financial assistance awards confidential.

In keeping with the NAIS Principles of Good Practice for Financial Aid, the School considers tuition the responsibility of both parents. Accordingly, both parents must complete a Financial Assistance application and provide required documents. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis depending on several factors. For students in the Admissions process, email financialassistance@westminster.net if you would like to find out if you qualify for such an exception. In cases where applications are completed by non-married parents, information is kept separate and confidential and will never be shared by the School with the other parent.
