A Note from the Class Reunion Committee

Hello to the Class of 2016!

It’s hard to believe it’s been a decade since we walked across the seal for the first time on Senior Patio to mark our graduation from high school.

10 years since we heroically “saved the seal” in our last few weeks of high school. 10 years since Amanda Brothers and William Denning were an iconic presidential duo, and we had our first StudGov twin co-chairs in Katie and Billy McGahan. 10 years since our class made history, beating Blessed Trinity for the football state championship (Westminster’s first in 37 years) and doing it again that spring with a baseball state title (first in 41). We racked up wins across other sports teams and found time for other legendary moments, like tarping the front of Pressly Hall on our last day of school and turning the Spatio into a beach.

A lot has changed at Westminster in the last 10 years – Spatio is now called the quadrangle, seniors park in a parking deck (RIP senior lot), Adam’s Gate has been moved a couple feet to the left, and many new buildings have appeared. We were one of Keith Evans' first graduating classes of seniors, and this year is now his last. We’ve changed as well—through college, first jobs, new cities, and new chapters. Through all the changes, we’ve always had Westminster to tie us together, and it’s time to come back to the place that sent us off into the real world 10 years ago.
