Mini Class Course Descriptions
Laser Cutting and Assembling "Swiss Army Keys," Catalyst Lab
Laser cutting has become one of the most sought after and reliable features for students and teachers available in the Roberto C. Goizueta Catalyst Lab to enhance projects and develop prototypes. Come and learn about the power of laser cutting, and the software OnShape, as participants learn how to assemble "Swiss Army Keys". This session will showcase the kind of 3D iterative design and prototyping that frequently occurs in the lab.

Traveling The Globe with Google Earth, Virtual Reality (VR) Lab
The VR Lab in Hawkins Hall includes eight stations with high-powered PCs and a variety of applications that allow our students to explore and stretch their imaginations. From walking through a 3,000 year-old Egyptian tomb to crafting elaborate sculptures for 3D printing, Westminster students have been able to expand their learning with the resources of the VR Lab. Join us for a scavenger hunt as we track down the many places across the planet where Westminster students engage in global programs and community engagement.
