Glenn Early Learning Center serves children in our Infant, One-Year-Old, and Two-Year-Old classrooms. Each classroom is thoughtfully designed to support the unique developmental needs of young children during these important early years.

At Glenn Early Learning Center, we believe young children learn best through meaningful play, exploration, relationships, and hands-on experiences. Our play-based approach encourages curiosity, creativity, communication, and independence while supporting each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

At Glenn Early Learning Center, we understand that learning is never one-size-fits-all. We recognize that every child develops at their own pace, and we believe the early years should be filled with joy, warmth, exploration, and opportunities to learn through hands-on experiences and meaningful interactions. Our classrooms are intentionally designed to support the natural curiosity of young children while creating a strong foundation for future learning.

Our teachers use the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS) to thoughtfully guide classroom experiences and support each child’s growth across all developmental areas, including language, social-emotional development, physical development, cognitive learning, and early problem-solving skills. Paired with a play-based approach, our teachers create flexible, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that meet children where they are while encouraging confidence, independence, creativity, and discovery. As children transition from one classroom to the next, teachers intentionally build upon the skills, routines, and learning experiences introduced in previous classrooms, helping each child feel supported, successful, and prepared for the next stage of development.

Strong communication is an important part of our partnership with families. Teachers fill out daily sheets that provide updates about each child’s day, including meals, naps, activities, and special moments. We also use the app Seesaw, to give a peak at your child’s day in pictures. We value open communication and believe families and teachers work best together when connected and informed.

We begin introducing potty training in our Two-Year-Old classrooms and view the process as a partnership between school and home. Our teachers work closely with families to create a consistent, supportive, and encouraging experience. Our goal is to help children build confidence and independence throughout the process.
